R/bak® U
The basic R/bak cushion is noted for its versatility. It is designed without a support/mount substrate for general purpose use. This high quality cushion is valued for its flexibility. Apply your own adhesives to create those special cushion products to meet your individual needs. Extremely pliable, R/bak U can be cut, shaped and mounted to even the smallest diameter cylinder. As a plate cushion, cylinder cover or for spot cushioning, R/bak U provides superior performance at modest cost.
R/bak® U1A
U1A combines Rogers’ proven open-cell polyurethane cushion foam with a single sided acrylic adhesive technology for corrugated printing applications. This combination offers the flexibility to bond directly to either PVC or PET carrier film. Available in four thickness to customize your corrugated plate mount solution.
R/bak® SS
This polyester-reinforced family of R/bak Cushions doubles as a plate carrier and cushion. Mechanical or magnetic mounting hardware can be easily attached by almost any common method. The standard of the corrugated printing market, R/bak SS (supported soft) is recommended for fine multi-color process printing on corrugated substrates.
R/bak® SF
This polyester-reinforced family of R/bak Cushions doubles as a plate carrier and cushion. Mechanical or magnetic mounting hardware can be easily attached by almost any common method. The standard of the corrugated printing market, R/bak SF (supported firm) is a general purpose cushion for solids, line and process printing corrugated substrates.

R/bak® Cushion Mounting Materials for Film, Label & Corrugated Printing
R/bak® Cushion Mounting Materials are advanced, open cell urethanes that provide the most consistent, resilient cushioning for flexographic printing. Using R/bak materials will improve registration, reduce dot gain, decrease plate deformation, improve ink transfer and allow the use of finer screens for finer line work. R/bak materials reduce pressure and absorb shock for flexographic printing plates, resulting in longer plate and cushion life and higher print quality. They consistently deliver compressibility performance on press in a compressible plate mounting system.

SA 3000 Thin Tapes
R/bak® SA 3000 Flexographic Cushion Mounting Tapes with improved handling! A textured transparent liner and Rogers’ improved adhesive system result in easier handling—quick mounting and demounting reduce make-ready and removal time. Rogers’ open-cell urethane technology provides consistent solid ink density, reduces dot grain and delivers millions of impressions without making adjustments.
SA 3100 – Soft Combination – .015” (0.38mm) and 20 mil (0.51 mm) tapes for combination jobs with demanding process and screen work.
SA 3300 – General Purpose – .015” (0.38mm) and 20 mil (0.51 mm) tapes for combination jobs with screen, line and solid work.
SA 3500 – For combination jobs with bold lines and solids with darker screens – reverse print and no pin holing.
