At Anderson & Vreeland, we're always looking for new ways to support our customers, whether that means bringing in cutting-edge technology, streamlining workflow, or expanding our expert team. That’s why we’re excited to announce the newest addition to our A&V Canada operations: Kevin Sakai, stepping into the role of Technical Sales Manager.
With more than two decades of experience in the flexographic printing space, Kevin isn’t just bringing technical expertise; he brings a hands-on approach paired with a deep understanding of what makes a pressroom run efficiently. His hire reflects our continued commitment to offering outstanding customer service, wrapped in strong technical support that helps our clients stay ahead.
A Flexo Veteran With a Passion for
Problem-Solving
Kevin’s flexo journey started on the shop floor, running presses and making sure products came off the line flawlessly. That foundation grew into leadership roles, including Supervisor and Quality Manager at WestRock, where he became known for optimizing processes, enhancing production metrics, and prioritizing customer satisfaction.
His skill set is impressive: from proactive problem-solving using RC/CAPA techniques, to implementing HACCP systems, to hands-on equipment care and calibration—Kevin has done it. Now he’s excited to bring all of that knowledge to support A&V’s customers across Canada.
“His technical background and dedication to customer satisfaction will undoubtedly strengthen our relationships and empower our clients to achieve their goals,” said Martin Schofield, Director of Sales – Canada. “We’re thrilled to have Kevin on the team.”
A New Chapter, Same Dedication
Kevin himself is enthusiastic about this new opportunity, describing the role as a “fantastic chance” to apply his flexographic expertise in meaningful ways. His goal? To help customers optimize performance, minimize waste, and create smarter, more efficient workflows. That’s exactly the kind of insight and energy we value at A&V.
When Kevin isn’t helping customers overhaul their production processes, you’ll find him enjoying his wide range of hobbies—from golf and travel to chess and DIY projects. Like any great problem solver, he thrives on strategy and creativity, whether on the job or off.
Continuing the A&V Commitment
For over 60 years, Anderson & Vreeland has been a trusted name in the flexographic industry, known for bringing innovative solutions and unmatched customer support to every job. Kevin Sakai’s addition to our Canadian team is just another step in that journey, providing our clients with the expertise they need and the technical guidance they can trust.
We’re excited for what’s ahead, and even more excited to have Kevin on board as we continue growing in the Canadian market.
Welcome to the team, Kevin!
